China Glaze Electric Nights - Nail Art & swatches

I am a little late to the party but I finally got most of the China Glaze Electric Nights polishes! I have been looking forward to this collection, as I saw many people in the Nail Polish world were. It has some really gorgeous, bright cremes perfect for the summer, along with some unusual, multi-coloured glitters, though I only got one of those this time. I have some quick swatches and a review below but first, I used a few of these for this nail art ...

The formula for the polishes is a bit thin but I didn't have much trouble with application. You do have to be careful how much you have on the brush though - since the formula is thin, it tends to flood the cuticles if you are not careful. All the swatches below are two coats (other than three coats for the yellow, Daisy Know My Name?), with no base or top coat. They were really glossy even without top coat. Most were opaque in two coats, although they would benefit from a white base underneath. The glitter of course, is on top of two coats of a white polish.

Row 1: Daisy Know My Name?, Violet-Vibes, Point Me to the Party;
Row 2: Home Sweet House Music, Glow with the Flow, Treble Maker;
Row 3: DJ Blue My Mind, Plur-ple, Red-y to Rave.

For the nail art, I started with a white nail polish and sponged on Daisy Know My Name?, Home Sweet House Music, Glow with the Flow, Violet-Vibes, Treble Maker and DJ Blue My Mind. Then I stamped using an image from the lovely Uberchic plates - 1-01, with Konad Black.

  4. That's soooo good how the stamp ties all of that multi-colored sponging together! Looks awesome, and one of the best uses of the Electric Nights polishes I have seen!
