Diagonal Dotted French Tips

I did this manicure with my March Nail Art Challenge in mind, the prompt for which was a 'Dotticure'. I don't think I do French tip manicures often enough - I am not a big fan of the plain white tips but I do love a more fun and colourful take on it, like this one ...
The base polish for these nails is Sally Hansen Strike a Pose - I did add a drop of red polish into it to give it a pink tint. The diagonal French tips have been done free hand with Rimmel London 449 Brit Blue. I used Color Club Art Club Silver Glitter striper to draw the glittery line along the tip. The white dots were done with Barry M Matt White using a dotting tool. I used a dotting tool again for the little bow on my accent ring finger with China Glaze Liquid Leather with a rhinestone in the middle. After I had done these nails, I did think that if I had done them in red, these could be my Minnie Mouse nails - maybe another time!
